Hotel Lucia, Portland

I wouldn't call this gem of a boutique hotel kid-friendly exactly. The rooms are far too small to accommodate even the small family. I would consider, however, staying here with an infant because I really love this place. I'm not sure if they have cribs or not but if you are in a position to use a travel crib then this hotel could work for you. It's very comfortable. The beds are fabulous. The black + white photography and art throughout the hotel are fun and inspiring. The TVs are big. The clean, modern aesthetic is a delight. But most of all I appreciated the relaxed, genuine, and uber-helpful nature of the staff. They could write the book on good service.
