CUBAN RAINBOW

Travelling from Trinidad to Cayo Coco we decided to take a little beverage break along the way and accidentally captured a rainbow.

I love rainbow shots - we got one last year by the Gare de Lyon in Paris.

Nice catch. Hope you didn't get stuck in any rain.

You gotta love rainbows. We get a ton of them, since they usually come at the end of rain. And we just can't get enough of them.

It's funny, we could be having a bad day, or my son can do something that really riles me up, and then out of nowhere he points to a rainbow, and we all smile and simply forget the tedious stuff we were bickering about!

Amazing capture. Would love to hear more about your time in Cuba. It's a place that has always fascinated me.

Beautiful shot.

Like Dim Sum, I'd like to hear more about your travels in Cuba as I've never really heard from someone who actually traveled there.

Well, funny, I've been lucky enough to go to Cuba 3 times! I can barely believe it myself. But each time we spent most of a week there enjoying the lazy life of an all-inclusive. The little travelling we did do was to Havana, a must-do, and to Trinidad, a very charming colonial town.

I have a few posts about our experiences there with child ...

Cuba, eh?
Well I'll just have to figure out how I can squeeze that into my travel plans over the next couple of years - since I have a feeling everything could change there pretty radically when Castro dies.
Great shot!
