Friday Night Shorts: Shaun Tan and Oliver Jeffers

Traditionally, Friday night is movie night in our house. Tonight we are looking forward to a series of shorts that Spud's teacher shared with us from YouTube.

The Lost Thing book by Shaun Tan is a household favourite — his illustrations are so full of wonder and imagination — we are very much looking forward to this...

Shaun Tan's Red Tree is new to us but is now officially on our wish list. Here its been delicately animated to some beautiful original music ...

And finally, a real gem that they are watching in class today. I don't think Spud will mind seeing this video based on Oliver Jeffers Lost and Found twice ...

When Spud's teacher asked the class who they would want to meet if they could meet any author, Spud replied "Shaun Tan". So if there's time, we might try out The Making of The Lost Thing too ...

Time to make popcorn!

>>Friday night is movie night in our house and we like to start with a good short or two. To see others we recommend check out some previous posts here.
