Yum!
How cool! I used to love the chapter about sugaring in Little House in the Big Woods -- and they always made that candy. Very, very cool!
Just a little piece of that would be nice, though. It's maple time around here, and we're thinking of going to one of the ubiquitous pancake breakfasts for it.
Yummy! My kids would adore that! Like Angela, I remember that section of LHITBW as well!
Yum,I love maple syrup!!!
I've always wanted to try to make that.Of course, by the time the sap runs here, the snow's usually gone.
Hmmm. Little House in the Big Woods. I haven't that of that book in a long time. Time to hit the library soon.: )
Ummm ... Dominique ... where are these ubiquitous pancake breakfasts? I'm game.:)
Minnimom, I've of course never tried to make it myself but I think these Sugar Shack folks figure out a way to make snow. Maybe it's just shaved ice?
"Les cabane a sucre" as they are called back in Quebec really are ubiquiteous. Most everyone lives within an hour of one and the few who do not probably could make their own.
He looks as if he doesn't care if his teeth are rotting. This is such a great picture. I love his engineer gear!! He is just too precious.BeccaPlease visit me at http://www.askbecca.com
