Another Scarf Project

And it was easy and fun. It only took one evening in front of the TV after Spud was in bed. Well, that was after spending the previous evening getting it right after numerous crochet-ripout-crochet-ripout episodes. I had troubles with maintaining a consistent width. An age old problem with me. But now the little bub's neck will be warm as toast this winter.

I feel like I'm on a roll ... I think I'll make one for myself next ...

Nana needs one too.

Nice scarf. I am knitting a lace one at the moment. I don't know what possessed me to think that was a good idea - it is taking ages.
I love the colour of the yarn for yours though.

Do you have a favorite pattern you use? I started to crochet last winter but need to get back at it.
Yours is beautiful.

Mom, next time you come out, let's look at yarn you like, okay?
: )

Julie, I'm so novice that I don't even know what a lace one would look like but it sounds fantastic. If you have pics or a post or something, shoot them my way. I'd love to see it.
I hope it goes fast for you.

Mama goose, I'm all over the map with patterns. I've used a pattern that came on the inside of the paper band around the yarn. And twice from one that came on a flyer that was hanging near the yarn I bought. How unimaginitive is that?

Soon enough I'll get braver and venture out there. I've got my eyes on a couple of projects in Debbie Stoller's book here ... http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/books/35/search?sc=Debbie+Stoller&sf=Author

Do you have any tips on where to get good patterns?

Thanks for the comment. I love your question.
