Sprouting and Growing Beans

SUMMER FUN PASSPORT ENTRY  |  TICK!

We started with a few of Nana's beans (of various varieties). Plunked them in the sides of a large jar stuffed with several damp paper towels. Put the jar in the sun, rotating it periodically, spritzing it every day.

Some of them go moldy and don't produce anything. But most slowly crack open, grow roots, and shoot up a happy little sprout. All in a few days.

We took the Summer Bucket List Challenge. Our working list is here.

We've posted about growing beans before!
